Disaster Movie. Stupid, insane, and definitely LoL material. Watch out for the Alvin and the Chipmunk part. They are portrayed as rabid death metal squirrels with a nasty tendency to bite your balls. Cute!

(Imagine the eye-bulging and fangs yourself)

My Take on Relationships

Relationships are kinda tricky. I'd say it's like standing on a wire above an abyss trying to balance a 10 feet long pole. You can't rush a relationship, nor let it stay stagnant for too long, lest you wish the other to feel forsaken. You have to find a balance in between, and often times it varies with each person. So while that approach might have worked with friend A, you may find yourself hitting dead-ends repeatedly with friend B. People tend to forget that everyone is an unique person unto themselves, and that not everyone is willing accept you into their social circles as quickly as you do, and even if they do, you might not be held as intimate as you expected to be regarded. Like I said, it takes skill and immense tact to maintain a good relationship for long periods of time. It's not that we are all anti-social in nature, rather the contrary, however, we are rather fickle creatures, and tend to tire of that which does not interest us anymore.

Even though time is the more apparent factor when relationships fail, I'd attribute the true reason to a lack of communications, or perhaps more suitably put, the lack of real, meaningful interaction between two individuals involved in a relationship. Most relationships are built on playful banter, jokes, or maybe some serious discussion regarding common interest or likes, but that can only take one so far. We are so often consumed by our daily schedule that we tend to neglect the time to really get to know one another, that it eventually causes a minor rift between the two, gnawing at both sides until neither can tolerate each other. Problems arises when one makes a judgment that was due to the lack of understanding for the actions of another and causes a standoff. I believe that in friendships or love, personal differences can be tolerated, compromises can be made, if only we're willing to spend some time to understand each other a little bit more instead of wallowing in self pity or depression.

There's hope for us yet.

I'm fucking pissed off right now. Why? Let's rewind two and a half hours.

-----------

Okay, Chem tuition, slept through it, next, off to the T-shirt printer to return the sample shirt. Everything so good so far. Gotta rush to my mum's shop so I hurry to the bus stop. Oh kewl, spotted a few buses waiting there. None of''em U71? Never mind, there's still time. Half an hour later, still no sign of U71. It's still kewl, the waiting time's usually this long anyways, so I waited. An hour passed, and not even a rumble from the engine. Ah, I'll wait some more, they were this late during Puasa too. 1 hour and 30 minutes, 4 U73, 3 U72, 2 U75, at least 6 U68 and a fucking drizzle later, and still the fucking bus doesn't show up. At this point I was so tired of waiting, I tore up the fucking ticket and left them where they should be, in the sewers, and head to the LRT station. And that's when I saw'em, the two U71 buses rolling like freaking snails towards the bus stop, together. Fuck, what coincidence it is for both of them to arrive at the same time. That, or they went for a break together during that hour and a half, leaving us standing like freaking idiots waiting for them to come. I've always been patient and tried to keep an eye closed to your complete lack of time management, but this is just too much. Fuck you and your lousy ass coaches, after today, I'm never ever going to ride on your shit buses any fucking more if I could help it. Gah!!! A fucking hour and half wasted just like that. Here's to you assholes.

You deserved it! = ]

Watched Eagle Eye with Jun Hin and Weng Cheok the day before yesterday. Your run of the mill action movie with a cyber-twist. The only complaint I have is that the director employed the recently in-trend shaking-the-damn-camera-like-some-amateur-cameraman-high-on-drugs technique at almost all the action sequences, which is so frustating to watch. I mean, what's the whole friggin point of that scene if all we see are just flashy blurs and grunts? Just let us enjoy the carnage without giving us an effin' migraine man.

On a side note, school's totally pointless now. No point in going to school next week, lest you wish to wither away your time on those lame Pra-SPM exams...

PMR starts today. Form 5 students didn't have to attend classes today cuz' some of the lil' brats are taking the examinations in our class rooms. So I went B-balling this morning with mah gang, minus the girls (Bunny said she's a he, so he doesn't count). There was a bunch of aunties shaking their butts when we arrive. They are either doing some aerobics moves or killing some goddamned mosquitoes. I suspect its the latter (They sting like hell. I'd shake my ass too if it'd kill them). Anyways, thanks Chinny and Darren for the B-ball tips.

Nothing much happened after that. Went to Ivan's house for a swim, then off to Club OUG for a session of badminton. Today was so tiring I think I'll go to bed earlier today. xP

Ciaos, and nites.

*Some readers may consider the following post to be extremely offensive, even though they were not written to offend and therefore, I implore thee to read at your own risk. Note, it may also be extremely boring, so skip the crap in the first three paragraphs and jump to my conclusion, but that wouldn't be fun now, would it? xP

Zeitgeist. In German, it literally means the spirit of the age and its society. A fitting name for a films that challenges our very conception regarding age-old "truths" concerning Christianity and modern events that have shaped the world to what it has become today. Zeitgeist, the Movie certainly raises a lot of questions to the truths some of us have grown up to in this age. Mean like Muhammad Ali in the ring, and packing a punch as potent with its comprehensive research, Zeitgeist is one movie that will leave you spinning.

Zeitgeist is divided into three parts. The first part detailing religion, specifically Christianity. This section is what gave Zeitgeist its infamous reputation among devout followers of the Church as it denounces Jesus as merely a merging of pagan gods and deities, the tale of his birth crafted from ancient astrological myths and signs, created as a form of social control. From all the replies and comments I've read, most seemed to be fervently centered on this part of the movie.

Continuing on to part two. This section revolves around the conspiracies of the infamous 9/11 incident. The hijacking and subsequent crashing of commercial passenger airline jets into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon triggered a massive response from the U.S.A administrations, which eventually led to the passing of the oppressive Homeland Security Act, the USA Patriot Act and the war in Iraq. However, the film states that 9/11 was a false flag operation carried out by operatives of their own intelligence system to seed discord and chaos among the masses to ensure that the United States Congress passes USA Patriot Act. The significance of which is revealed in the third, and last part of the film.

Every country in this world has some form of currency which is regulated through the monetary system. The world we live in today basically runs on money. Simply put, we NEED money, and who provides them to our government? The banks. In part 3 of Zeitgeist, the film gave a shocking revelation to what the men behind the curtains, the elites, the filthy rich bastards who control the monetary system have been doing and are planning to do.

The entirety of this 2 hour film have been really thought-provoking. It made me think, is the reality that we live in really just as it seems? Or is there something just lurking underneath this reality of ours, a whole world of greed and control, where we are nothing but puppets to the system? Watch this film now and think, even if you don't believe any of the things they said. Watch and think, for when we cease to think, we cease to exist as individuals.  To quote the film maker, "Truth is not told, it is realized". And the truth is, reality, is often what we ourselves make of it.

Zeitgeist - The Movie official website

Zeitgeist - The Movie, GoogleVideo, Remastered/Final Edition *The opening may be tediously off-putting to some, so if you're one of those impatient types, maybe you'd like to skip directly to point 4:00 of the movie.

-End of insanely long and mundane review-

Phew, okay, did that in 2 hours. Most of it are just synopsis of what each part is trying to say, so go watch the movie, seriously! There's even a sequel to this movie, titled Zeitgeist : Addendum, so go watch that too! Man, now I sound like an overhyped school-kid winning his first Pokemon battle, lol. Damn you Jeradyne for introducing me to that movie! Just kidding, I love the effin' movie lol.

I seriously need some goddamned sleep right now, so I'll be signing off right. Ciao and good morning to you folks.

School sucked, as usual. Had to endure two friggin' periods of Add Maths today, and it's a goddamn miracle I did not fell asleep mid-class. Finished The DaVinci Code. It's not a bad read really, considering the fact this is a Dan Brown novel, whom, in my opinion, writes too predictably. You could actually predict the plot twists pages before they appear. Still, the plot's arousing enough to piqued one's curiosity such that it would make you flip a few pages more when you want to put it down, and then some. Don't read this book if you're easily offended by words that sully your faith though, for there's plenty of Church bashing in this book.

On a side note, no, I don't stay up all night to look at porn, if that's what's on your mind. (=_=") It's just that I have an irrevocable tendency to gulp down caffeine whenever I feel weary, and that, in turn causes an artificially induced insomnia which prevents me from sleeping till the wee hours of tomorrow morning, which, by sleeping then, causes more harm than good. So there you have it, the answer to my reluctance to sleep at night. Muahahaha, I think that just earned me my very own personal psychiatric ward in Tanjung Rambutan. I can already feel the delirious-ness coming on in spades! Smashing!

And so, to end this post with a bang before I take my leave, bang.

Go figure.

School starts approximately 2 hours from now... Sigh... Time sure does flies... I guess it's back to our ol' monotonous school life from here on out... Not that I really care though... The teachers in school are just gonna leave us to our own devices anyways, meaning they'll probably just give us homeworks to do OR hand out the trials paper, which is more likely the case... Hmm... I wonder how badly I fucked up this time... xP

Anyways, on a side note, Jay Chou's new album has been leaked on the Internet... Go Youtube 'em when you have the time... Songs to look out for are 稻香,女儿红 and 魔羯座...

Time to go wash up... See ya in school...

Rawr!! I'm still alive?! Mehehehe, now I can add a new achievement to my list! Let's see, staying awake for 36 hours straight... Definitely worth 10 points! *pats meself on the back*

Anyways, the day before yesterday's yesterday was Hari Raya Puasa, and I spent my time roasting chicken wings and fishies for Ivan and gang in his condo. The whole party was a riot! We sat and chat and ate and, erm, drank till there's nothing left, obviously. Of course, every now and then we get to jump into the pool and take a dip when things get hot, and I even got to wear the golden flashy bling-bling bikini Jun Hin and Chun Ning bought as Weng Cheok's birthday present. Pics can be found on Friendster, either Yeong Bein's or Fei Sin's or Chun Ning's. Go take a peek and tell me whether it suits me or not. Just kidding. By the way, Fei Sin can really cook a mean wok of fried rice, the best damn one I've had in ages! Just call Fei Sin's number whenever you need fried rice for your party.

So, moving on, I think I oughta finish that report for today's meeting or I'll have my head served on a platter... So long for now, and may the <3>P.S: It's raining outside! I think I'm gonna go sit by the balcony for awhile...
